Early Beginnings
Pay To Play Records is an independent record label founded in 2020 by Austyn Davys and myself, Tanner Davis. As life-long music heads, when Austyn began his music career in 2017 it only felt right for us to start our own label to go along with it. After 3 long years of trying to find the right time to make it official, we finally did it. Growing up we idolized the artists who were able to build self-sufficient music labels such as Jay-Z with Rocafella Records. With the inspiration and knowledge gained by studying the greats of the music industry we started PTP Records.
Our mission in the music industry
The goal of PTP Records is to be respected in the music industry. We will push to be known as a record label that is dedicated to its artists, and for being a artist friendly label. When artist join PTP Records we don't them want to look at us as a label, but rather a family and a support system. As we grow bigger in the music industry we will never forget that without the artist a label is nothing.
